Build Your Own Learning Plan

This flexible learning plan lets you determine the order and pace of your development.

If our recommended learning plan doesn't work for you, follow this two step process to create one that fits yours needs.

Step 1: Prepare

Download the learning plan template.
Add your development goals using the Common Language of Leadership (CLL) as a guide.
Add Bridge development activities that align with your goals.
Consider adding other development activities inside or outside of your organization.

Step 2: Act

Review your learning plan with your manager or a trusted colleague.
Schedule quarterly check ins to stay on track.
Dive into your development activities.
Document key learnings along the way.

Here are a couple of learning plan scenarios for inspiration.

Scenario 1
Short on time and staff

Luis has limited time because his team is short staffed. He needs support with some of the challenges he is facing. He starts with the "Make Time for What Matters Most" and "Manage Change" electives, and he identifies some new strategies to experiment with. He plans to attend Leadership Foundations when his availability opens in a few months.
